Releasable Double Overhand Slip Hitch

This hitch can be used when you have knots in both the pull cord and main rope while maintaining retrievability.

Step 1: Tie a Double Overhand Slip Hitch

Step 2: Take the pull rope and insert a bight of rope through the Slip Hitch while leaving a long tail on the pull rope.

Step 3: Place another bight of rope through the loop of the Slip Hitch.

Step 4: Tighten and dress the knot. Make sure that the upper bight cannot go over the tail of the main rope.
