Step 1, connect a screw-link to one end of the Web-O-Lette then tie a clove hitch or figure eight knot on the same side of the screw-link. Place the guiding line side of the rope through the screw-link and close it. Make a bight of rope about 4 to 5 feet long and tie an alpine butterfly knot next to the screw-link.

Step 2, place a bight of rope through the other end of the web-o-lette, fold it over on itself and insert the fiddle stick. There are other options for the fiddlestick shown below.

Step 3, tie a sheet-bend into the cable of the fiddlestick

Step 4, move the butterfly knot at least 2 feet from the screw-link.

Step 5, take the pull side of the rope and tie a sheet-bend into the butterfly knot.

Step 6, backup the sheet-bend with a double over hand knot. The system is now ready to use, make sure that you do a test pull to make sure it works properly.
